OUR STORY

Born out of a love for the little things in life. The jewellery we create is bold and playful. A little something to bring a moment of joy. To share and hold meaning. Designs born from moods, moments and stories in metal.

A little History

I worked as a silversmith for over 6 years and dabbled in casting in that time, but really found my passion when transitioning fully to the process of Lost Wax Casting. There's freedom in the process. Vast potential to create anything the heart desires and that's truly exciting stuff. We work from a small studio, carrying out every stage of the process with our own hands from carving the master design, making bespoke adjustments, casting and stone setting.

The method of modern day casting is adapted from a millennia-old process where molten metal is poured into an impression or mould. The process can be beautifully organic in texture meaning no piece is ever alike. We try to retain a hint of this story when sanding and polishing each piece. Another benefit of this process is that we can craft your order in your size - there's a little lead time for us to do this, but your jewellery is created specifically for you. There's no excess. No unnecessary waste and that's important to us.

Sustainability

We are constantly trying to improve the way we create and minimise our impact. Sadly, in an era of fast fashion, for some businesses sustainability isn't always at the forefront. We work exclusively with certified recycled metals, reclaiming when possible and combining with refined silver grain.

Our packaging is re-usable and fully recyclable from our Fairtrade organic cotton bags to our 70% FSC certified jewellery boxes and mailers.

What is FSC certification?

This refers to materials sourced from well-managed FSC-certified forests and sources, supporting responsible forestry where no more trees are cut down than the forest can produce. It also ensures that animal and plant life in these forests are protected and forest workers are fully trained, have decent working conditions and receive a fair wage.

We'll always be adapting and pushing forward for a more sustainable future. Keep checking back to follow our journey.
